Anna is Chief Sustainability Officer at Dentsu International, a member of the international executive team and a senior associate at the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership. Anna joined Dentsu in September 2018 where she is responsible for embedding purpose at the heart of business, culture and operations, including directing dentsu’s fully integrated ‘Social Impact’ strategy, which includes dentsu’s commitment to sustainability and diversity, equity and inclusion. Anna is a member of the Prince of Wales’s Business & Sustainability global steering committee, the UN Global Compact Diversity and Inclusion Working Group, the Ad Net Zero steering group and the Sustainable Brands advisory board. Anna joined dentsu from BT Group where she was Director of Sustainable Business and an advisor to the UK government on digital inclusion. Anna has been recognised for her groundbreaking work on climate action, global health and social inclusion winning the ‘Changing Lives’ award at the Broadband World Forum, the World Economic Forum’s ‘New Vision for Development’ award and Business Green’s ‘Sustainability Team of the Year’. Previous roles at BT include Communications Director, member of the India Committee for Sustainable Business and judge for the Tech4Good awards. Anna started her career at Brodeur Worldwide, part of the Omnicom Group, where she led global campaigns for brands including Philips and Vodafone. Anna is a passionate advocate of the role of digital in delivering the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the power of individual sustainable behaviour change: she is a life-long vegetarian and working to take her home ‘off grid’.
