Business Operations Director

Omnicom, EMEA

Adam has spent his entire career at Omnicom, having joined OMD International in August 2002 as a Graduate working on the Sony Electronics business, coordinating 16 markets across Europe. Over the 24 years Adam has been with Omnicom, he has been privileged to have worked across Global, Regional and local business for OMD, PHD and Hearts & Science – working on some of the most high profile, largest and most innovative brands in the world – from Airbus, Audi and Apple and JLR to Unilever, Sony Pictures and ABSOLUT Vodka. He has also been fortunate enough to have spent 3 years in Budapest as the PHD CEE Lead for Unilever and 4 ½ years in Paris as the Deputy MD of Re-mind PHD and MD of OMD France. Most recently Adam has been working on Transformation and Transition projects on both clients and on a wider OMC internal level.

Adam is very much looking forward to seeing the creativity and quality of work that has been submitted for the 2026 World Media Group Awards – as a massive fan of advertising and media done well,  he is constantly inspired, humbled and blown away by the innovation and left field thinking that is on show at the Awards – genuine proof that budget is rarely a restriction to a quality, consumer-centric insight and a limitless imagination!

Outside of work, Adam is married to Katy, dad to Wilf and Elodie and chief wrangler to Maverick (the Labradoodle) – and can frequently be found coaching hockey and cricket at U10s-U13s level (with mixed success), cycling and taking part in slightly stupid charity escapades such as sailing across the south Atlantic or climbing Kilimanjaro. He is also a member of the Invictus Games 2027 Birmingham Board and helping to ensure the delivery of a successful and truly memorable experience for Wounded and Injured Service personnel and their families in 12 months time (nothing like a little bit of pressure)!
