John is at the intersection of brands, media, technology and content. He is a creatively-led, transformation and growth CEO/CMO of B2B and B2C matrix businesses.
Joined EY in 2014 from WPP, with the brief to transform the EY Brand as an engine of growth, to become the most distinctive professional services brand – EY is now a top 10 AAA+ Brand. Proud of leading many initiatives, including the creation of EY’s ‘Better Questions’ platform, the launch of EY’s Women Fast Forward program and latterly supporting EY’s sustainability commitments and brand including the establishment of the S30 SSMI’s (with Freuds and with HRH Prince Charles’ Strategic Markets Initiative).
Prior to joining EY from WPP, he was one of the pioneers of WPP’s integrated holding company approach as CEO of Team Vodafone, then establishing Team GSK. He joined JWT, after founding his own agency, at the time, uniquely fusing PR and digital.
His formative years were at Saatchi & Saatchi, as Managing Partner, working across multiple sectors from consumer, drinks, mobile, retail, electronics, financial, media and charities, with a string of awards attached.
