Now in their 9th year, The World Media Awards are established as the pre-eminent awards for the international brand and advertising teams who are driving engagement and success for global brands through content-led marketing strategies. Our independent, multi-national jury will be looking for the very best in cross-platform, cross-border advertising, creative thinking across storytelling and for inspiring examples of how to engage with international, influential audiences.

The World Media Awards are not for profit – 50% of the entry fee will be donated to Reporters Without Borders, a charity which protects and supports journalism and freedom of speech around the world. Entry fees for our Rising Star category will be donated to the Brixton Finishing School, which supports under-represented talent interested in pursuing a career in media and advertising.

Winning a World Media Award brings not only recognition and reward for the teams involved, but winning agencies will also have their Award recognised by the WARC Media 100 Rankings, and all winners will be featured in an advertising campaign worth €750,000 hosted by the quality global media brands that make up the World Media Group.

The winners of the 2024 World Media Awards will be hosted at the Ham Yard Hotel in London on Thursday 21st November. Join us for an Awards evening with a celebratory awards presentation followed by drinks and canapes.

Four reasons to enter:

  • Demonstrate your capability to deliver great ideas for advertisers with multinational budgets
  • Have your work judged by an international, independent jury of advertising clients, agency experts, and content specialists
  • See your work celebrated in an advertising campaign celebrating the winners valued at more than €750K, published by the World Media Group’s leading international brands
  • Agencies winning a World Media Award will receive recognition for this within the WARC Media 100 Rankings

To qualify to win a World Media Award, your work must have been implemented between April 2023 and June 2024.  You campaign must also have intentionally targeted three or more countries, and – whilst social reach and engagement will of course be important – your strategy must have included a paid media element.
